Default Any new reports for Detroit River/Erie Michigan waters?

I'm looking to go out for my first time ever saturday and try for some eyes. This is pretty much my first time ever going for walleye period on any water. Any suggestions on bait/locations? I'm trying to stay in michigan waters for this trip, especially being my first time.

Do you want to jig or troll? The fishing is good over there right now....

be very very careful with the weather. The weekend weather is not looking great right now, I would hold off until it straightens out unless the forecast changes..

Either will work. I'd like to try jigging, but I really just want to get some fillets in the freezer!

I saw the weather report, it's gonna be ugly. I'm going out saturday, so hopefully it's just showers on and off and not too bad of wind. I guess I'd need info on the jigging in the river if it's too windy.

yeah, just looked at the forcast and it changed again. It says showers giving way to storms in the late day. What's the chances of getting some fishing in early morning? Or is it even worth it with that forecast?
