Going to hire a guide for walleye fishing. Any suggestions on doing this? Never did it before. Any comments welcome. Thanks

I've never had a guide for walleye fishing. However I would just recommend asking the local bait store and they will have some respectable fisherman i'm sure.
If your coming to NE South Dakota i'd be happy to take you out. |

Just like anything, references ca help. Know anyone who has hired a guide whre you want to fish?

References are the way to go. I know some guides that if they charged 10 bucks a trip, I would not use/recommend them. I know other guides that are worth twice what they charge. Why don't you post what lake you need the guide for. There may be some guys here that can steer you in the right direction.

Tom Neustrom is a Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame member and guide on Leech Lake. I can make that recommendation without any hesitation.
