On Monday of this week I sent my HDS-7 in for repair because of water damage. I recieved an e-mail today that said a new unit was shipped today. I know the water damage should not have happened, but the turn around is impressive.

I recieved the HDS-7 today. A week and a day from the time it was sent in to Lowrance. I contacted the costomer service pertaining to the warranty and they said I had two years from delivery date. Good luck to all Lowrance owners.

Is that 2 years from the delivery date of the original HDS or 2 years from today?

I was plesently surprised yesterday when my replacement under warranty HDS-8 arrived. I was earlier informed it would be sometime in August before I would receive one. I am a Lowrance fan and now a happy camper. Hopefully others with problems will get them resolved sooner than later. I had no problems with customer service once I got through. I understand this is a busy time of year.
