Exclamation lowrance 110c-transducer selection

I just installed a new shoot-thru hull transducer for my 110c. My old transducer was a dual-frequency 50/200 khz transducer. The new transducer is only a 200 khz (mainly used for freshwater).

My question: Should I go into Sonar Setup and change the transducer selection from 50/200 khz to "only 200 khz"?

I think I know the obvious answer, but I thought I would get some advice from the group. Thanks in advance for your help.

Another question: I could try this out on the water, but what would happen if I just left the setting as a 50/200 khz dual-frequency transducer? Would my sonar return be messed up?
