I perfer the using the powder paint and bake it to a hard finish.

I agree with powder coat. I don't use anything fancy--just tea candles to heat up the jigs and then dip them in powder coat, let them dry and then bake to a hard finish.

I agree with powder coat then bake it. If you dont bake it, the paint will chip off. I tried the vinyl on 1 batch of jigs - never again. Once the jig got wet and would sit in the hot sun, the paint would come off

Not sure how your planning on doing yours. But I heat mine with a Heat gun and cover the eye up with Hemostat's this way the eye is clean of powder. I hole the hook with a Pair of hemostat's while heating the jig then swap to a second pair to hold the eye this way there not hot and don't get powder coated on them. Then bake them in a Toaster oven they come out great this way. I do our jugs form 1/64 to 1.5 oz this way.
But now I have a big oven where I can do a few hundred at a time.

Also I made my own Fluid bed to fluff the powder up with. It does a lot better job then just dipping the jigs into the powder and there easy to make.

When you bake to harden what temperature do you set the oven for.

I think the label on the power paint says the temp to bake at, but if I remember right it is 225 for 30min or something close to that.
