Default Minn Kota power drive question

Hi guys. I have a power drive that is the older model with the white head and it has autopilot. When the speed is turned all the way up to 10 it won't let me turn the motor either direction. If I turn it down to 9 I can turn all I want. Any idea what might be causing this?

I had a similar problem with mine last summer. was able to finally track it down to a bad circuit board in the foot control pedal causing a voltage drop when the motor was pulling high amp load (running full speed). when I checked a repair kit was available from MK. or you can replace the entire foot control pedal.
