I am running a 2004 Lund Pro Angler with a 75 HP Yamaha Tiller. This boat is new to me last year. If anyone has any pics of their rigged up Tillers (Any make) I would love to take a look at them. Always looking for new ideas on how to rig up. Thanks in advance Dave Mulder

Take a look through this thread.... there will be boats of all kinds with lots of tillers. What kind of rigging are you looking for? |

this is not mine, but I especially like "eye-hunter"s dual-display mounting of his electronics. http://www.walleyecentral.com/forums...hp?albumid=467
I hope to accomplish something similar this winter on mine. HRG

Here are a couple pics of the back of my boat. Since that pic, I've added Wave Wackers to both sides. The transducers are both thru hull except for the side imaging that is mounted on the Port side. I also have a Ram rod holder mounted on the back rail.

Thanks for the shout-out HRG! After one season of use, I must say that I really love how the dual HDS display worked out. I wouldn't change a thing about it! I found that most of the time I used it pushed back and turned and an angle so that both me and my fishing buddy can see the displays. Just like THIS PICTURE, except angled forward. When I was running, I liked being able to move it out in front of me - it was much easier to get a GPS glance when running the tiller. Having a big range of motion was every bit as useful as I had hoped it would be.
Other little things: • 6 rod holder mounts on the gunnels - one by me on each side, one in the middle on each side, and one up front on each side, and I'm going to add 2 more back by me. • 4 Cabela's cup holders - they are tough, removable, keep the beverages in their containers, and work with a cozy! I have 4 little mount stubs around the boat. The cup holders stay stowed and out of the way when not in use. They also have little rings to hang lures off, which I use all the time on the water. • Mounted plug-in for my onboard charger. You can see it in the same picture as above. It's nice not having to jump in and out of the boat to charge the batteries. • Cobra edge hydrofoil - like many tillers, my boat squats in back and loves to stick it's nose in the air. The cobra edge is pretty small, but really keeps the nose down and gives me a lot more control options on the water • Boat buckles - LOVE these things for faster and easier boat launches (I only trailer) • Jumper cables that reach from the trolling batteries to the starting battery (trust me) |

Eye Hunter,
all your rigging looks great. I just bought a 2011 175 Navigator tiller. What make/Model of flush mount rod holders do you have on your boat? they look like Ram's as far as I can tell from the picture. I want to do something very similar on my boat. I am thinking 3 on each side near the back for trolling, and one on each side in the bow. thanks, |

here's my interpretation of your side by side mount. I used the single arm Ram unit, and a piece of 1/2" thick Starboard for the plate.

The rod holder mounts are the units that come with the Cabela's rod holders as seen HERE. I had to drill a larger hole through the gunnels for the base with a metal cutting hole saw, and then I tapped out the 4 holes for stainless machine screws (and I used red lock-tite). I was nervous drilling the holes, but once I got started it was easy. They are incredibly sturdy and look great since they are flush mounted. I tossed out the little rubber caps and popped the bottoms out of them so they don't fill up with water.

Nice job! Have you had a chance to use it, or was this a winter project?
