Default Guide for Houghton/Hancock MI

Can anyone recommend a guide or guides for walleye fishing on Portage and Torch lakes in Houghton,Mi. I'll be going in June or late May.

Don't know of too many guides in that area. Northwoods is one but never used his services. Pretty good guy though. I had four years of schooling to try to figure out the lake, so never paid anyone to help me. Not many places to get minnows up there either. Only northwoods in chassell, and an outdoor/gun shop in Hancock.

Probably better off trolling harnesses anyway. Chassell bay, humps. That's where the last PWT was won.
