Default What have been the best pre-HDS Lowrance units?

Since Lowrance as such a loyal following, I thought I'd ask this to see which units that reputation was built on? Best performance, reliable, dependable units.

Default Lorance

My guess would be LMS 350 and X 65/75/85. I never had an issue w/any of these units

My old green box still works just fine- including the original transducer.

The Old Green Box is what we grew up with. I have had numerous Eagle products that all worked perfect. I then had the LCX series and loads of problems. Now the HDS and love them.

Yep, those as well as the the 7 inch global maps are solid as well also the 6 inch x-18's as well. Those are the same genre.

I know guys with the units that DW mentioned including me, very good units.

I had an X-85 that worked great. Sold it to a friend and it worked well for him for another 6 years when he sold his boat. Don't know about after that.

I had great luck with all my Lowrance prodcuts in the past up until I got into the LCX series....that is when I left Lowrance.

I hope they make a comeback with the HDS series.
