New to me...but sounds like a great idea
Was over at my dealer and one of their Pro-Staff was there...we were yaking about a few things...but one thing he told me is that he always puts the boat plug on by the inside on his boat (through the center access panel in the spill tray) He says that way...if you launch the rig and forget to put it in...you don't need to go swimming to insert it. And...no one will play tricks on ya when the boat is out of the water. anyone else do this?? |

All of my boats have had the plug on the inside.

I've got both. I use the outside one, but there is an inside one, on a tether, just in case,,,,,

It's brutal putting my inside one in so I put it on the outside. Works good for me except last summer and I put the plug in the livewell drain instead of the correct place. Fiqured it out when my ankles were starting to get wet about half and hour later.

My boat had it on the inside to which was OK before because I always left it in most of the time. But now with the new laws for invasive species I like it on the outside for ease of access. Now I throw an extra in the livewell for the days I forget to put it back in.

We think the same. I had to reach into 40* water "once" and I bet you did also.
