global map 3200 help

I recently picked up a global map 3200 rigged it up on the boat went fishing and it worked real good. Only problem i had was the unit was not picking up the speed under 2mph. Lowrance told me to do a hard reset to see if it would fix that. I did that and now when i turn the unit on it gives the alarm "gps module not found" it worked fine before the hard reset.

Does anyone have any suggestions beyond the lowrance trouble shooting guide as i tried all that and it didnt work. I have the lgc 12s module and it plugs directly into the unit.
