No and around 2 MPH is what I use.

I had pesky 14"-15" saugers taking my 4" Salmon Spoons last summer. Thankfully my guests were happy catching those little sauger one after another.

I keep being told that walleyes want smaller spoons, but...

People catch walleyes on spoons while salmon trolling in Lake Huron and we troll 7" Rapalas with good results in the spring. The native Great Lakes shad our walleyes feed on are a good 4" long in the Fall. I'd be willing to give 4" spoons a try.

I troll salmon spoons with crawler/snells on the back of them. I have caught 14" walleye on them. We also troll #18 original floats and get smaller walleye also, but we get some hogs as well!!!!

I've got some small spoons, and some of the longer salmon spoons. I have been told the small spoons work well for Walleye.

I have not caught a single walleye on the small ones, but I've caught lots on the bigger spoons.

I'm not sure if they are 4", but they certainly are at least 3"+.
