I'm seriously looking at buying this boat for small lakes and ponds, but was curious how stable it is while standing on the front deck, particularly near the edge. I would appreciate some feedback, good or bad, from anyone who has one of these boats. Thanks

We had a 17' that was very stable and built pretty rugged, the motor not so much! This was our river boat for a couple of years and treated us very well. They are not light but it was a good hull.

I had a Creastliner 1448 (20 inch transom). Very stable. I'm 200 lbs and can stand on the rail no problem.

I can't speak for Tracker, but I have an Alumacraft 1448 Jon. I have a custom built, large casting deck on the front w/trolling motor. It's very stable, however if a big boat's wake is coming at you, it likely will splash over the front if I'm on the deck.
I love fishing out of mine, and especially hunting.
