What are best batteries for 36volt Minkota Terrova

Looking for info on the best battery with most reserve time. I have Exide mega cycle batteries now. Work great when they work, but last year had 3 new batteries and after second outing, 2 went bad. This year, I think the same thing is happening. Losing confidence in these batteries, even though they are free replacement. Looking for what others are having success with.
