Default who uses a frabill hiber net?

I see frabill makes a net that slides in the handle. Who has one? It looks slick and would take up way less room. I don't know if I like the netting material for crankbaits though.

I have looked at them but they seem alittle cumbersum. I think its just alot nicer being able to pick the net off the floor and net the fish.

I started using one last year. There is a slight learning curve but once your used to it it's great. Couple times a year shoot some lube into the slot on the handle and as long as you have the slot up for deploy & stow with the net hanging correctly your all set. The netting isn't too bad for catching hooks. I have a Ranger 620 and keep it stored where the rod ramp is. Not having that neting always catchig reels andd peoples feet is worth it IMO.

IMHO, Frabill has really come on strong in the past few years.
They have come out with some really neat stuff, good quality, and affordable.
That "hiber-Net" looks good to me.
I'd like to try one
I am not Frabill Pro-Staff ......but I could be easily bought

PS: My wife and I won a Frabill "Conservation Series" (extendable) net, last weekend.
It replaced my old standby (DotLine w/ Beckman bag).

kind of off topic but I have a extendable frabil also....Great unit, not sure what its called but its hook proof netting and shrinks down to about 5 ft and stretches out to almost 10 ft i think.....All i know is that is a fricken long landing net!

Second season with mine. I really like how it can be stored in the rod locker. Once you get it broke in, it works great.

I looked at one when they first came out. Looked like a piece of junk, so I passed on it. Maybe they improved since then.

Seemed like they would be pretty usless when trolling. As they have a smaller hoop and dont reach very far.....

I bought one a while back. Only time I've used it was while trolling cranks. If you don't mind spending a few minutes getting the hooks out of the net every time you land a fish it's a good net. I emailed frabill about this and they acted as if they could care less. Won't buy another, but it is a cool idea. fits nice in a storage locker and looks good laying in the boat. Just sucks about the netting.
