Looking for a pet safe fly control method. My dog "Buddy" had house flies all over his house and a few on his coat. Wasnt sure if permethrin was safe for the dog. I dont want to see the flies get his ears bleeding... Any good ideas? Thanks

I use Frontline or k-9 advantix. You put the tube of fluid on the skin between the shoulders once a month during the bug season. Takes care of all bugs.

I use a product called Vet-Kem Ovitrol flea and tick spray. You can apply it directly to their coat and around the kennel. It works very well.

Take a look at this fly prevention system from Spalding products. Gun Dog Supply is a great resource.

An alternative flea and tick option is the shoo-tags. Look them up.
