Cool Could you spare some water?

The north, mid west has more than they want ... water. Texas, New Mexico really need some.

This year early the lake was already low because of normal draw down Army Corp of Engineer stuff. Now no rain in either state. Lot's of beach at the lake house.

Well, in the great cicle of life things move around.
For about the last 20 years, the upper west has been in the midst of a severe water shortage. Everything burned up, water levels at lakes and rivers at all time lows.

Now, here in 18 months, mother nature has taken lake and reservior levels from all time lows to all time highs.

So, what goes around comes around.

Who knows when things will turn in the south again.

Good luck and stay wet if you can.

Default looks familiar

Your picture looks like McConaughy two years ago. I drove to Gavins Point today just to see the amazing display. The release is now 150000 cfs. That is per second! A rough calculation using 7.2 gal per feet cubed gives about 94 BILLION gallons per day through that dam. I will remember this in a couple of years when we are dry again. If only...

I am not a scientist, the water on earth seems to me to be recycled over and over. The amount doesn't change much the oceans are not receding ... where would it go? Steam comes back to earth.

So the water drink today is the same water Alexander the Great drank or whomever. If it went into sewage or where ever it gets recycled and then bam rains or snows on us and into our water supply.

That is a strange thought.

LOL ... now were talking. We are just borrowing our grandkids resources, need to be good stewards.

Makes you look at that cool, clean, crisp water in a whole new way.

Wow that is really river front property. Looks like some great new fishing spots.

The days of plenty, so much water, so many kidneys ... mind boggling.
