Beautiful lake!! I fish it in the winter months for big Stripers! Probably not what yer wantin to hear, but it a beautiful lake surrounded by hills and trees and a national forest!!

Naw it is fine i hear that. Considering I live in Texas in the northeastern part I Ouachita is only about 5 hours from me. Having been there tons of times when kids were growning up it is nice there. I just never fished there so i was wondering what one could expect. More or less thinking of going up there in october
