My report will be a day late as I have sad news for any of you who knew Al Glanzer from north of Chamberlain on the river. Al had a heart attack and passed away on Tuesday. He had just brought me up a supply of his Glanzer Spinners and we had the opportunity to fish together for the last time on Labor day. Al among many things was the best spinner fisherman I ever knew. He was my first walleye tournament partner over 30 years ago and was always proud of the fact that we took 7th place in the first ever World Walleye National Tournament. I along with all who knew Al will miss him. So will the river.
