Ryan,
A good place to start wold be a 20 or 22 pitch prop with the largest diameter that would fit inside the cavitaiton plate.

Better yet, start with the prop that the dealer,. motor and boat manufacturer recommend.

When you do a deal on a new boat like this you should cut the deal so that the dealer gets the "right" prop on your boat for your needs.

i.e. let the dealer work with you to dry a dozen different props to get the exact right prop for your rig and for the waters you fish, and the way that you drive your boat.

Bottom line - put on a prop that is of a diameter that just fits inside the cavitation plate - is made of stainless steel - and has a pitch of between 15 and 30 which just allows your motor to get to red line with 2 people and loads in the boat.

Good boating.

Moat of the bigger boats don't have a hp rating. i.e. they are unrated.

Could be a commercial heavier and custom built one, they often are unrated. I also wonder what 20ft the 350 would go on. I have seen some custom built boats up in canada and they definitely were built stronger so I am sure they can handle the higher hp unless this person doesn't care about the laws and wants to slap on a higher hp than the boat is rated for anyway.

I know he has posted that he has a 620 and his dad has a Yarcraft 209, my 09 620 is not rated for a 350.... I'll be honest I've never seen a 350- except in a Chevy.

The Merc website doesn't even list a 350 verado?? Fingers slapped? Well since you have money to burn, you won't have to worry about insurance denying a claim or your warranty being voided?? How fast do you need to go anyway? You will probably have trouble finding anyone who is running such a set up, so data is going to be hard to come by I would imagine. The verado is already a heavy motor, so a 350 would be a lot of weight on a transom, especially one that isn't rated for that kind of HP!! Good luck.......

The Verado 350SCI is a Mercury Racing motor. It can be found on the merc racing site. It should weigh the same as the 225 and up.
