Default Lake Winnie - Sept 28

Was on Lake Winnie from Monday through Thursday last week. Fish were scattered on the humps and bars with close access to shoreline flats. Some fish were located in deeper waters (25-35 feet) but were not biting. The feeding fish were located in shallower in 13-15 feet. A few fish were located along the shoreline near High Banks. Crawlers on Lindy rigs were working well. We didn't have much luck with a jig and minnow although some were seeing some success.

The fish still seemed to be in their summer patterns and had not moved into the shallows. Water temps were in the high 50s to low 60s.

Good luck to those heading to Winnie in the next few weeks. Based on weather predictions for the next week, I don't see much change in the fishing patterns for the next week.
