I have a 1975 with a 25 in Transome. With a kicker off to the side, do you still go with the 25" or drop to a 20" with a kicker since it is not longer centered...What is reccomended/needed? Strictly a newbee here...Thanks

A 20" shaft will be more than sufficient. If you use a 25"er, the skeg will most likely drag in the water while on plane.

If your going to back troll in the rough stuff you will want the 25"

Are either of you (previous posters) running a Lund with that angle on the transom?

I have a Pro Kicker with a 25" shaft on My Lund 1800 Fisherman and it doesn't drag in the water while on plane. I also have a Verado 150 hanging on the transom.
