Default Ranger 620VS listing with kicker motor?

I noticed on the Ranger order form that they warn of possible listing of the boat with the use of a E-tech 15 kicker motor.
Is the 15 really that heavy? Can the Ranger really not handle that or is it over abundance of caution?

If I get someone my size (6'2'' 270lbs) sitting on the kicker side, the boat lists a bit. With a normal sized human (150-200lbs) it sits just a tiny bit crooked but straightens itself right up when on plane. By myself, it rides flat as can be. The 15HO is a bit heavy, but the benefits far outweigh the bit of a list. I went out early yesterday morning for a bit and pulled some wire with the 15HO, it hasnt been started in well over a month, it was about 24 degrees, It started up with no hesitation whatsoever and instantly trolling smooth as can be.

When I have just 2 people in the boat, I fill up my baitwell and it rides just fine.

So why is it that Ranger wants to know that? What do they do to the boat to counter that? Maybe Im missing something.

We had a SeaSwirl Striper WA 1850 a few years ago that listed with a 9.9 kicker on the starboard side, it couldn't possibly been my weight in the captain's chair. Had a friend move the swim ladder to starboard and mount the kicker on the port, list gone, even when I'm sitting in the captain's chair. My last two boats have each had the kicker mounted on the port side rather than starboard, both kickers 9.9s.
