The best lure to use on my river is the blue tiger colored jigging rap.....I prefer a #5 but go to a #3 as well if current is light!!!!Dont forget to tip it with a minnow head/tail or body...............

Buckshots with minnow heads save the day again. Seven of eight walleye caught today came on a red Buckshot with a minnow head.

Finally got to use the PK flutter fish on perch this weekend. It worked very well. I used everything and no other jigging spoon outperformed this lure. Others worked but this turned into my go-to.

Surprised no mention of the Live Target.

I always start with a Target, and only end up elsewhere if the Walleye demand it.

As far as Perch - I have no idea.

Number 2 Sweedish pimples, seem to work the best for me. Especially when the bite is light.

Well I to saw the Hype about PK lures and was not impressed. For one reason. I was not impressed because I never got them Sooner. They really do Rock. And can only say I will have get some more from Cabelas. The FlutterFish worked Unreal. I tipped them with a Small minnow head and did well on Eyes and Perch. The lake I fish is presured and it was great to see some fish taken on a tough Bite. Now if this ice will stay a little longer. I will be very happy.

If i could only take one lure onto the ice with me it would most definitely be the CJ+S Slender Spoon. Good colors for me have been silver/blue, silver/silver, gold/glow, gold/chartreuse. 1/8oz for less than 25FOW, 5/16 oz for deeper water or fishing current.

last season the only thing that worked you me was live bait. shiners worked best the early season and mid season rainbow chubs worked best. Dead stick and tip ups were the only thing i could catch fish on.
