Hey guys, I am new to the forum and was hoping to verify something, I recently ordered a Lund 1875 Pro-v, Currently there is a Mercury special, the 175 at the 150 price. My dealer says that the 175 and 200 run very close together so much so that he says at this price the 175 is the way to go with only approximately a 2mph difference in top speed. I don't want to have any regrets as I plan to run this boat for awhile. We took out a demo model (1875 with 175) and hit 52mph (GPS) in rough conditions, I think on smoother waters it would hit 53 or 54. My qusetion is, is the 200 verado worth the 3000 extra dollars? Any insight would be great and appreciated.
Thanks PTM |

I didn't think the 175 was worth the extra $2000 over the 150 a few boats back. I regretted it. Spend the extra cash and make this boat exactly what you want it to be from the start.
