Does any one know how well they would work in stained water ? Was thinking about using one at Lake of The Woods.

On a good day, you might have one to two inches of viewing area.
In other words, if you want to try out an underwater camera in any lake that you haven't tried before - rent - don't buy. Try it out and see what you think. Then, if you think it is worth it, buy it. Good luck REW |

Not sure how Rainy compares to LOTW/
I have a Marcum 825C that I have used on the Chippewa Flowage and has worked very well. It is stained I have fished rainy river and stained wise I would say compareable. Big difference in camera quality from manufactures. |

My buddy brought his to try out on LOW- lack of visibility prevented ANY significant effectiveness. Save the effort/time & space and just run your flasher/sonar...
