SWEET. It's about time. I wonder if it will be a software update for the XX8 version systems?

My understanding is that if your unit is Ethernet capable, you're good to go. You need a NEMA 2000 network to bridge to.

Does that mean HRG and Eye-Hunter need to show me a 3 unit set-up on a swing warm? Two 958s and a 998 on the helm? That's a lot of electronics.

Yeah, I knew radar was coming. Pretty sweet. You are right. Or HB could start producing display units for each module. I really don't need 4 graphs in the boat........or do I?

Default Good Information On This Post But I Have A Question

This is a fact finding question not to create controversy. I would like a moderator to tell me, if this post stays on line and doesn't get dusted! What makes this post any different then Jim Carroll's post featuring screen shots of the new Gen 2 Lowrance HDS units and information regarding its features on the Lowrance 2012 Gen 2 units. I feel this post is identical to the one Jim posted on the Lowrance Gen 2 and ended up getting dusted. I appreciate having this information on HB's NEMEA network, likewise I appreciated having Jims infomation of the Gen 2 units, before it got dusted. Thanks for enlightening me, just thought it is worth pointing out.
