Default Prop for 1900 ProV

I've been running a Yamaha SS 14-1/2"x21 and have great performance top end about 52 and no cavitaion in rougher water at slow steady speeds.
My question is: What would be the possible performance level be if I were to go to a 23 pitch?
I was pricing new SS props and they are off the charts!!!
I had a offer to buy a 23 at a reasonable rate.
Appreciate any responses......Paul

You'll probaly gain couple on topend, but your holeshot will suffer alot.

Rabbit... I had the same set up for my demo in 2003. (One less battery...due to 24V bow mount) I switched over to a 21 Merc Tempest and picked a little top end.

Couldn't turn a 23 at this altitude. But, keep in mind.., the Tempest is capable of more lift and more top end than the Yamaha Pro Series.
