foretrex to terrova on a 620

wondering if any of you 620 people have changed out a fortrex bow mount for a terrova? I am pretty sure the bolt hole/mount pattern is different on the terrova, such that you end up with having to drill new holes, and you have at least a couple holes showing. looking for some advice on what you did to cover/plus the holes.

Any other helpful advice before i do this would be appreciated

I switched from a Maxxum to Terrova. There are a couple holes now visible and I couldn't afford to replace the entire rubber mat like I wanted so the dealer put some black round head screws in them and they don't show much at all. At least they are OK until I can afford to change the pad.

I bought a 620 from a guy who initially had a maxxum and switched to a terrova. Now I'm switching to a fortrex. I'm hoping that my boat doesn't look like Swiss cheese!! I like the ideas here to hide any blemishes.

I put a terrova on mine from a fortrex. Only 2 holes show I am looking to replace the pad but until then I just filled each hole with 100% silicone. You could use the screw and cap method for the two holes that show.

Just finished mounting my Terrova where my Maxxum was on my 620. Both have qwick release mounts. I was able to use the most forward outside hole which essentially covered up 4 of the 6 holes. The back 2 holes remain. For those I used the outside hole to mount a P Clamp for securing the foot pedal connector. The inside hole, I used another larger P clamp to secure the folded transducer cable and hold the main power cable in place. Looks like I did it on purpose.

Warhawk, This is the bracket in Jinx's pic. I have the same mount on my Terrova. It works great!

I have both a Fortrex and a Terrova.The Fortrex I use for vertical jigging the Detroit and St.Clair river,the Terrova I use for the rest of my fishing.I just put a quick release mount on the bow and use it for both motors.And it covered any holes that were not used for the quick release mount.
