100 Day Club

51 days we will be on our way to Rainy for a week. Been watching the Rainy Lake One Stop Cam for couple weeks now. That ice is getting real rotten.

We, my wife and I just returned from a trip to Rome! Excellant trip, we even watched a couple of guys fishing the Tiber River! Now it is on to the countdwon to Goose Bay Camp! 71 days to go!

Hawk Air will be taking me and 3 friends to Easey lake in just 49 days. For the other 3 guys, its there first time to canada, and one of them hasnt even went fresh water fishing before. Gonna be an interesting time..lol

Nothin like taking some "virgins" up to Canada. They'll be hooked and want to go every year. I've taken many first timers up and never had one deny that it was one of the best vacations that they had ever had.

In 82 days,ten guys in two camps on lac Hebert ,with Air Tamarac. This will be my 6th trip to ths lac. the time will fly by for all.

I wish I didnt live so close to Bass Pro Shops. 77 more days of trying to restrain myself from going shopping and talking myself out of buying more stuff. You all know how it is.... You are in the store looking around and "OooH, I don't have one of those." and it happens again, again and again.

Today is the 100th day of the year! So for our Goose Bay group we are at 67 days and counting! Part of our group celebrated Easter together, shared a few Kokanee's and plans for a group fish fry in a couple more weeks. These sunny cool days we have been having in Cen. Il. remind me of so many great days on the waters of Lac Seul!
Thanks to the new Bass Pro in East Peoria, I have all the gear I need, or at least think I need for this years trip!? Well maybe a new cooler....
