Just as the title states, I'm looking for some of the best sites for reading up on implementation and interpretation of StructureScan & I guess now StructureMap. Thanks.

Check out high tech fishing and Doc Sampson. I got both hid HDS vid and Structure Scan vid. Well worth the money.

Yeah. I've been to Doc's quite a bit from back in my Dr. Depth days, and have all of his videos. I know HB users have quite a good forum. I was wondering if there was anything similar for Lowrance users.

I have this video on StructureMap http://www.hightechfishing.com/hds.html and I will add more information on StructureMap after I have used it on the water. I have been viewing the StructureMap like images on my laptop connected through Ethernet to the HDS for awhile but the laptop isn’t bright enough for side scan image interpretation compared to the HDS. I believe the StructureMap will be the most valuable when you have a good depth map (high definition Lowrance, Navionics or a DrDepth map) as an overlay with the StructureMap. I will create some examples this year and post more reviews on my website.

Well, the lakes I fish up here don't really have any useful commercial maps available. That's why I got into Dr. Depth and used isolines to create my own maps. I'm looking forward to spending more time with the technology this season, and hope to get a bit of a head start with the theory before I get out on the water in the next 4-6 weeks. I did recently order your DVDs which I didn't have before Doc. I'm sure they'll all help.
