I have a Yamaha 60 HP tiller on my boat and was wanting to hear from anyone who has put the Titan steering system on there boat. I am considering it but would like to hear from users.
Thanks, Tom

Do a search on WC for Titan and you will have plenty to read about. I have the Titan on my F90 and also had it on my F75 and absolutely would not have any tiller without it ever again.... or something similar. It is fantastic!

I have the Titan on a 90hp E-tec and while it may not be completely necessary it sure is nice and I will never be without it.

Default Titan Steering

I am running a Skeeter 1790T and it did not have the Titan System on it when I bought the boat. After reading all the good reports I purchased the Titan and have been wonderfully pleased. It takes all the fight out of the motor and I would not own another tiller without it. An added benefit to me was it holds the motor in place better than the factory friction plate when trailering which has saved me on replacing any more transom savers. It's a toss up between the Titan and the Vantage self deploying as to which helps this old man the most. Ain't technology great?

Default Titan steering

OK, just got my Lund Pro Guide 1825 with 90 Yamaha. I inquired with all of you about my need for the Titan steering system. I decided to get it and then determine. Well, I think I would like it. So With that info does anyone have any recommendations for where I can get a good deal on it installed in SE Wisconsin.? Thanks all. So far love the boat.

Default Titan Steering

I purchased a Lund Pro Guide 1825 with 90 Yamaha without the Titan. After all my reading and inquiries I decided to get the boat, drive it and then decide on the Titan. Have used it about 5 hours and determined that I need the Titan. My dealer is installing it next week. He is not marking up the cost to him, just charging for labor. Can't wait.

My two cents.

Default get it...

I have a 90 E-tech and like locomoto said above, it may not be absolutely neccessary but it sure is nice. Especially on those longer runs in Canada.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. I spend 1-2 weeks a year in Canada on big water and feel the same. I have been in big winds and waves and have several experiences that made me update my estate planning. I think the Titan system will keep me in a better place.

Thanks.
