hds water temp problems

My unit wont display the water temp. I have a brand new transducer with temp capability. Ive checked my settings and i think they are right? Any ideas?

First thing I'd suggest is to make sure you have the "brand new" transducer selected! Do you have "overlays" turned on and did you make a "temperature" overlay for one of your screens? If you have a "temp" overlay, is it just reading "0" or show a value?
