New Tiller boat?? "BackTroller boat"??

Hey guys, was out fishing in SD this weekend and parked next to a Rig that was all lettered up "BackTroller Boats". www.Backtrollerboats.com. Never heard of them before, just wondering if anyone has been in one/owns one or heck, even seen one. If fish quite a bit but this is the first time I even heard of that brand. Went to the site and cruised around, looks like a really cool tiller. any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Walked past one at the sports show in Mpls. a couple of weeks ago. Didn't stop and look so I know nothing about them. I think they are being built in Minnesota.

I've been told they are built in Melrose, MN in the same factory as Warrior. Completely different companies but the same facility.

I talked to John at his booth at the show. Great guy. We have some friends that have known him for years.

I think it was 25k or 27k as rigged at the show. I am close by, so, being curious, I contacted him for a test ride this summer. I thought the hull looked really interesting. I liked the layout. Cons - no history and no big name with big pockets to back up any warranty. I wish him well! We need more offerings in the smaller glass tillers.

It looks like the storage will not be dry. For that kind if money I would buy the new Ranger 175T. Proven company with excellent customer service. The 175T is a bit pricey too, but aren't they all. Even the aluminum boats now will give you sticker shock.

The lids are basically same as a Ranger. Fiberglass lips over a rubber seal. The seals were not on at the Northwest show.
