Default New Lund Pro-V 1875 Rear Live Well Question

OK, I picked this boat up two weeks ago and I am ashamed to admit I have not yet launched it other than with the dealer. It has been in the garage and I sit in it and dream but the stinkin office and life is so busy - well that is my problem. Before I left the dealer, he could not figure out just how that black plastic template installed that surrounded the minnow bucket. If you place in in the top slot of the live well in one direction, it is way too loose. If you try to place it in the other direction, it looks like that is the way it should install but man, I am afraid I might break it by snapping it up and in place. I should take it back but no time up to this point. Thanks for your advice and maybe I just need to cowboy it up into place. That usually gets me in trouble! Thanks

Default Bucket bracket

Doc,

I can't use live minnows so I thought I'd take one for the team and check into this, I'm not sure its the right way but I forced it up there and nothing broke. Once you have it in place it slides over to the edge and seems like a sturdy bracket. If you break it you can have mine just shoot me a pm.

Lay it in the livewell at an angle. Slide it all the way to the starboard side and lift it up to the top. Now slide it back in it's tracks.

I removed mine this weekend for about the tenth time, and then I put it back in when Im going to be using the bucket. It doesnt seem like a strong piece until you have it out in your hands. I dont think you could break it unless you really forced it in there. Start at one side and then just slide the other side up. Takes a llittle pressure but then it will just pop in.
