Anyone use grappler shads by cotton cordel? What do you think of them? They look almost identical to the lindy shadlings but a little less expensive where I've seen them.

I have tried Grappler shads they are a great trolling bait, they will run over 4MPH and not blow out. But I have yet to this day after 5 years never caught a fish on any of them trying them of and on.....go figure

I've got a couple of them. Finish started coming off both after only a couple of fish, but they did catch 'em. Bill on one cracked off the first day, but it was getting banged up in some rocks.

Ihave used them in my home river(small), and they work well for that. They catch fish and I don't think too much about throwing them in iffy areas at 3$. With shad raps I sometimes think twice...

Only bought and tried one once-was totally out of tune out of the box and could not be tuned no matter how much I tried-finally gave up-my time on the water is too precious to waste trying to tune a crappy lure-will never buy one again.
