3200 rpm @ 33mph sounds high, is that gps speed or boat speedometer? It seems to get a six cylinder Verado to plane on that boat is closer 4000rpm to get that speed. |

From the Yamaha website - 2001 Skeeter ZX2050 w/ 225Vmax = 1.2 MPG @ WOT (57mph for my rig) and 3.8 mpg @ 4000 RPM (40 mph for me) This is from memory so I may not be exactly accurate.
I don't run WOT very often, but the motor is designed to do it. I will run it pretty hard once each trip after a healthy warming period. The Crusher |

17' LUND with 50HP Honda 4stroke, 9.4 MPG running at 5500 rpm at 30mph so that is about 3gph. Gotta love that at four Obamabucks per gallon.

Paid more attention this last time to what I seem to do most often:

Not sure of the miles per gallon but I have a 1850 Tyee I/O and I can go all week fishing (many 25 mile trips one way) on a 36 gal tank.
