Thieves at The Fishing Crew Event

I'm shocked at the number of anglers that have shared accounts of equipment being stolen! It is discouraging.

Really makes you wonder, doesn't it. I am of the opinion that not all of the stolen goods land in a Pawn Shop or end up being sold. Just some bad folks in all segments of society and walks of life. Folks who would rather use your equipment than put forth enough effort in order to afford their own. I would like to think that every one of us Anglers is a Good Ole Boy-the vast majority of us are-just a few who are not.

Hopefully, you can get to the bottom of this and those who pulled this stunt will get theirs in the end. If not, I guess they will just have to live with themselves and their own conscious. I would very much suspect that those who did this have been involved in other dishonest acts and may just not care...about you and your equipment-or their conscious.

Well said. I would put this kind of vermin right in the class of those who are willing to cheat in a Tournament. They had just as well try and least be more of a manly thief and try to take their chances stealing money directly out of your pocket. Instead, this type of coward sneaks around in the shadows of darkness and deceit.

Any developments on the unfortunate incident with Kit getting his equipment boosted?

Too bad on the theft thing. Hope the low down scoundrels are brought to justice. I have been out of town for the last 6 weeks and didn't realize this. Absolutely no one deserves this kind of crap.

Any word on how the Lake Thompson thing turned out?

Does anyone know if there has been any progress made in this incident? Sure would be nice to see someone brought to justice on this. Might just send a good message and perhaps deter someone down the line from doing this type of thing. Sad part is that is so easy to get away with and that is why it happens.

Why would we ban him? He hasn't come back to do that anymore, so it hasn't continued. Usually if we just tell them to stop...they will.

Banning is not always the answer.
