My son-in-law want a new musky reel, to be used mostly for casting. He likes my Curado DSV, which has performed well for me. It is no longer available, but there is a Curado 300. Does anyone know how this new 300 performs? Is it comparable to the Curado DSV? Thank you.

300E improvements over the DSV:
-1 more bearing -titanium line guide insert -S-ARB pinion support bearing -differently color of green (E is more green and DSV is more grey) Else, they are the same. I have used both and could not tell the difference. The form factor is identical. The performance seemed the same. The 300E has some improvements. If you are happy with the 300DSV, you will be happy with the 300E. |

Yep my 300e was excellent, just didn't use it enough and opted to get a 50MG instead.
He will love the 300. |
