That's not alway's the easiest place to fish. Things changed and a lot of the Canadians hadn't been there before. They are all a bunch of good dudes and maybe from where they are from they had never experienced a bite that tough. Very challenging place to say the least.
I look forward to the possibility of doing this again in their back yard. Maybe things will work out for team Canada if that happens. That will be the rubber match, maybe then we can gloat. Until then lets just get on to the next event which is lake erie. Lake Erie will be an event of monster fish and a good bite, so if you have some fishing time left on your calendar get signed up and fish a great format and a great circuit. Best Regards, Scott Duncan |

FYI the Canadians paid and did not get in free. just so you know. A few did fund raisers. The cost works out to be at least $3,000. $7,000.00 once you work in time off work and travel. So Tony S is sadly full of himself. Why he would Post that well I will leave it at that.

If the can-am comes back here next year it would be nice to see a team format. The Canadians were discouraged by the slow bite and it was really expensive. Pretty hard to spend $5000 plus on a tourney and only catch a few fish during pre fish and 0,1 or 2 a day during the tourney. Most of the team do it for fun and I don't think (I could be wrong) no one does it for a living on the Canadian side. I feel bad that the bite slowed down that much for the tourney. It speaks highly of the winners (Duncan, Husky so on) on adapting to tough situations. A team format would bring the cost down a little. Also it was great to see the artifical thing but maybe next year they will allow live bait and we'll see some more fish caught. Again congrats to Duncan and Huskey for your great performance. I hope I get the chance to compete with you someday soon!
