Ranger puts the prop on the boat. At the factory. I have found that the props they use are usually the correct prop for a near empty rig running as light and as fast as possible.

I do not know what dealership this rig came from but blaming them for the wrong factory installed prop is not correct. To blame ranger would not be right either. Ranger doesn't know how big a load will be on board .

As for customers knowing more than sales staff. I am sure some customers know more than some salesman. Some customers are very educated in the product they want. This is not just in boats either. A chef probably knows more about food than a person working at a grocery store,
