Default Lakemaster Contour Elite Software

Does anyone have any experience with Lakemaster Contour Elite Software? Myself and a couple of my buddies want to take all of our waypoints put them together and manage them so we all have everyone's waypoint's. We all have Lowrance, some HDS's, LCX's and H2O's. I like the idea of having the visual of the map and contours to add and remove waypoints, also to remove all of our duplicate waypoints. It's a little spendy, but can't seem to find anything else out there that has the map and contours.

I use it regularly, especially when scouting new bodies of water that I'd like to sample. It's a great planning tool!

Default Waypoint management?

Will it do what I want as far as waypoint management of multiple GPS's?

Jason, do you use the search/filter and 3D features of the software? If you do, what is your usage and opinion on them. I am trying to figure out if there is any added value there beyond the maps themselves.

Looks like it can but the "management" part appears to be a manual process by the user. There is a 14 day trial on the software so you could try before you buy.

I like the software a lot. It is very new in development and is missing a lot of convenience features. It is nice Because it lets you search and plot out spots that you would like to try. We stay at a cabin on a lake once a year and I am able to search and find spots to try when we get there.

I used it for a camping trip last week and we caught fish at just about every spot I had marked using the different search features.

As a program to manage and file your waypoints it is not the best. I had problems with my Humminbird.

Actually I had one of the early versions 15+ years ago, still Lakemaster, but I can't remember the name.
