Thanks for the article. I was just talking to the dealer about towing speeds. When I head to Northern MN I always head up 169 where I usually do 75-80mph(on the way up), luckily this happened on the way home.
I will have to reign it in a bit. Save a little gas too. |

I put passenger tires under my lund. Had issues with my marathons. My tire guy said they are manufactured to higher standards and are underrated. Right or wrong I have had no issues and love them. I also upgraded to a 15 inch rim.

You stated that the tires were 3 years old. But were they 3 years old from the date of manufacture? The key thing is to replace your tires before the magic 6 year interval from the manufacturing date - no matter the miles or apparent condition of the tires. Good luck REW |
