Walleye are on fire from West Sister to Cleveland....casting or trolling....worms, spoons, cranks...take your pick. The farther East you get the bigger the average size, but still many big fish are being taken in the West. Good Luck!

Hearing good reports out of Sterling 24-26fow bouncers and divers with harnesses.

Tried for perch yesterday at Lucy's, west of Gull Island Shoal, North of GI Shoal, at the can at GI Shoal, the east side of Kelly Island Shoal, the SE corner of Kelly's............and finally found some biters south of Kelly's just east of the ferry crossing. Sheephead, white bass, and white perch are in abundance everywhere though.

By the sounds of the radio yesterday, it was a slow bite all the way around. I heard the walleye were biting good in Canada though. I'm sure the perch were too, but my guests didn't have Canadian licenses.

It's kind of tough when they tell you they all fish, but when you watch them and each of them is holding a spinning rod upside down and reeling backwards, you have to ask yourself.......... LOL

Oh well.......they went home with enough for a family fish fry before we were forced off the water by a severe storm that rolled in in the afternoon.
