I recently installed a stereo with two speakers in my Lund Rebel 1625. Problem is when I'm at cruising speed (30ish mph) I am unable to hear it well. It's a side console, but definetely doesnkt give me the wind protection that a full windshield would. Is this something two more speakers can fix? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I hadn't had my coffee yet...
Basically- do any of you have sound systems in your (side console) boat that you can listen to at cruising speed or am I just expecting too much? If it's as simple as going for 2 to 4 speakers then that's great, but if it's just a waste of time and money then obviously I won't do it. I have a 60hp 4 stroke on the back that I need to be louder than too! |

do you have an amplifier? If not, i'd try that before drilling more holes for additional speakers.

I do not. After some reading on how amplifiers workk, I think you might be right. I thought because I can stilll turn the volume up (but it distorts) that it wouldn't work...
