Default Shorlander vs. Eagle trailer

Been looking at new rig. Salesman keeps pushing the Eagle bunk and away from shorlander. Any opinions about which way to go? I am putting an Alumacraft 195 trophy on it. Thanks Rip

Eagle is definately the way to go. The boat does sit high, and above the fenders on this trailer. What kind of package and price are you looking at?

I have had both.

The Shorelandr was ok but no comparison to my custom made Eagle I have under my present boat

Default Had Both

I have had both, the eagle bunk is really nice because of how the front flairs out providing a step to put things in the boat, and my steps near the fenders are really nice.

I also like the bunk trailer better for loading but I do not use a lot of shallow landings where bunks would be a disadvantage.

Both were nice trailers, but I would definitely take the Eagle. My two cents.

in my case, the Eagle was a custom made for the boat, all welded trailer. The Shorelandr is a universal trailer with a lot of stuff that was bolted together.

The lights on the Eagle are resessed into the trailer and work great, the Shorlandr had bolted on lights that were ok, but just not as nice.

You can just tell the difference between the two when you compare them

The Eagles are also painted to match the color of the boat. And they are available in a chrome package and welded on spare tire carrier, if you so choose. Much better trailer.
