I have a 225 opti with a 22 pitch enertia. runs at 5300 rpms and top speed of 53.5..trolls at 2.8..tried a 21 pitch tempest and it trolls at 3.2 and goes 55 mph.. trying to get it to troll at 2.5 but would like to stay in the 50's for top speed. Would going with a 20 enertia get my rpms up enough to stay in the 50's and slow me down trolling? max rpm is 5750

Give it a shot. It should slow it down some without losing to much topend speed.
