I've had a Navigator and yes it was built heavy....rode terrible and tracked even worse. High bow blew around like a balloon. My Impact has a much better ride in heavy waves, tracks WAY better and even though this one is a walk-thru, blows around less. Do I wish the Impact was built slightly heavier...yes.

They all have pros and cons.
They make a navigator in 18 1/2 foot boat -- hmmm I bet not alot people have rode in that boat -

you have to compare apples to apples when your looking at boats -- I have had enough of them in my lifetime one foot or a foot and 4 inches makes a big difference on ride.
