Oahe out of Walth Bay

Fished out of Walth Bay.Bottom bouncers,small spinners,crawlers and leeches.Crawlers produced the best.The fish slid out to 15 ft.They were in 10 to 11 feet Friday.Sorted through lots of fish.My wife and I kept a limit of 17" fish.Fed my mother in law fresh beer battered walleye again.Took fresh beer battered walleye up to some residents of the Nursing Home where I work.Huge smiles and clean plates.
Marked some bigger fish in 23 to 25 ft yesterday.Ran through them with spinners,bang bang got hooked up right away.They were Northerns.Got several 7 lbs plus out of the school before I moved.Bill

I might of run into you Saturday at Walth Bay. We had a great day there also. Because we fish there less often we are just learning more about the fish there. Our size limit was smaller but we caught a lot of fish using 3/4 bottom bouncers about any color spinner you choose. I enjoy the Northerns' also! I was the guy trying to trade off the two grumpy old men constantly providing advice!
