Default ranger water pressure gauge - twice failed

ranger 621 with yamaha hpdi 250
under warranty they replaced the water pressure gauge in the dash (it was a standard gauge rigged with the boat; not a yamaha one)

now 2 years later that replaced gauge is also bad (shows a very high pressure all the time; same issue as before)

when i winterize is there something i'm supposed to be doing to these water pressure gauges? or are these problematic? the psi gauges in the other two boats are fine but the ranger ones seem to dislike me

thoughts?

REW is going to argue with me on this one but pull the line from the back of the gauge and blow the line out when you winterize. What you are describing is exactly what happens when they freeze. It has happened to me and others I fish with.

TJ.
I won't argue with you because, if you have a need to winterize the gauge - you have given him the correct method.
